Prophecies & Cosmological Outlook:  Although I've studied and read the Bible voraciously for most of my life, I have a difficult time with Biblical prophecy.  Mainly because there's so much hypocrisy in religion per se, and in Christendom, in particular.  But when the prophecies of individuals such as Nostradamus, Edgar Cayce, David Wilcock, the Hopi, the Maya and others begin to echo the Bible, it's cause to take notice. One of the 'prophecies' in particular, is the coming pole shift.  Although this might more accurately be placed under Earth Changes, it is a prophecy.  So what do we possibly have to look forward to?  Is there going to be a pole shift?  What about Planet X or Nibiru?  Should we be concerned over its approach and its affects to the earth?

On the Horizon, Political Outlook:  The Saturn-Uranus Opposition & the 2008 Presidential Elections: Guiliani for President?  Let's Hope Not

 

While Guiliani may have 'cleaned up' New York, from the looks of his natal chart, he might do more than that should he be elected president.  And the 'cleaning up' wouldn't necessarily be a good thing, either.  He was incredible after 9/11, but I have my doubts about whether that little debacle was truly terrorist-related, so much as an inside job - inside the USA, that is. So it's difficult to brush away the suspicion that anyone who had anything to do with it - especially the mayor of New York City (New York City?!!!) - might not be somehow involved as well. 

 

Even though his birthtime isn't known (consequently putting his Moon in the 12^th House, where it might not be if the actual birthtime were known), the planets that currently inhabit the 12^th House are of concern.  With a 12^th House Pluto in Leo fairly tightly conjuncted with his Mars, this guy is like a dormant volcano waiting to explode.  Fortunately there are no malefics (i.e., Saturn) in stressful aspects to these planets.

 

 

But will he succeed in winning the hearts of the American People, and thus the 2008 Presidential Elections?

I can think of several ways that the Saturn-Uranus opposition could play out in the 2008 election:

1. The U.S. elects its first woman president or its first African-American president-a revolution against the entire timeline of white male American political history.

2. A less-favored, surprising, underdog candidate wins-the Truman scenario (Uranus upsets Saturn). I have followed with interest the recent dust-up over Representative Dennis Kucinich's omission from an ABC debate photo(even though a post-debate poll showed he won) concurrent with his coming out on top in a "blind taste test" poll (which polled people on issues, not candidates). Earth Changes Updates   An Inconvenient Truth not so Convenient? Whatever you think of ex-Vice President, Al Gore and his message in this film, it's difficult to deny what IS happening, even now.  Glaciers and ice sheets are melting, sea levels are rising, flooding of low-lying areas is becoming more prevalent, carbon dioxide and methane levels are increasing, and the ozone layer is thinning rapidly.  Global Warming has become the new millennium buzzword.  But is it really happening?  Are we truly experiencing the effects of global warming or is it being caused by something else?  Even though there seems to be massive evidence that we are, indeed, gearing up for something major in the way of, possibly, a pole shift or something along those lines, now scientists are saying that Al Gore is full of hot air.  Could that be caused by the global warming?  However, while nearly every scientist on the planet over the last 5 years in particular, was on the global warming bandwagon, before the release of An Inconvenient Truth, suddenly they - en masse - seem to have come out against it.  What gives? Science News  No Such Thing as Time?   A-Temporal Gravitation   Time does not have physical reality, say researchers Amrit Sorli and Dusan Klinar, all we measure with clocks are changes in matter existing in space. Space itself, they say, is a-temporal. Space-time as advocated by Einstein and Minkowski is merely a mathematical construct, it has no physical existence.

Signs of Mental Illness, An Astrological and Psychiatric Breakthrough by Mitchell Gibson, M.D.    Wow.  I was really psyched (no pun intended) when I first read the jacket blurb for Signs of Mental Health on Amazon and couldn't wait to read the book.  I'm an empathic transformational relationship astrologer working towards my PsyD in counseling psychology and have been focusing mainly on astro-psychology or astrology with a psychological bent; therefore, I believed this book would be just the ticket.

What you feel is bitterness and anger

The lessons life would teach

Are somehow out of reach

When you live through the eyes of a stranger.

I see this life of lies

through a stranger's eyes

And all the dreams

that once I held so close.

This stranger shows me things

I only dared to dream

of passions that only others could ever know.

But life is stranger still

for as I climb that hill

While looking back to what life

might have been

I long for other chains

That would bind my pain

To suffer lessons lived, but never learned.

 

Now torn between the two,

These past and future views

hold the key to doors with all I've ever hoped to be.

And as the moon shines still
