What Are
Transits?
A transit is the path a body (such
as a planet or asteroid) takes at any given time through the zodiac. The
path of a planet at a native�s birth is referred to as a natal transit.
The path of a body during the present time period is referred to as a
current transit.
According to the
Online College of Astrology:
"Transits are used as a method of
predicting current and future conditions on the basis of the interaction
between the transiting planets and sensitive points in a natal chart".
