The North Node is where the planet crosses the ecliptic (the sun�s path
around the earth) and is called the ascending node. The North Node is
representative of a native�s present/future in this lifetime.
The South Node is referred to as the
descending node and is where the planet crosses the ecliptic in a
north/south direction. The South Node is representative of our past lives
and karma.
